Learning how to make type bounce in after effects by following a fun course by Mat Voyce who has made a name for himself designing playful animated social stickers. I had fun making my daughters name bounce. You can check his Adobe course here: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/cc/discover/article/illustrator-creator-series?locale=en

Inspired by Warhol, she was an artist with an innovative approach to design and education. Her artwork, with its messages of love and peace, was particularly popular during the social upheavals of the 1960s and 1970s. Her work is gradually receiving the recognition it deserves as the barriers between various art forms & high art come down. Last October I made this illustrated Gif to celebrate one of my favourite artists Jean-Michel Basquiat. “A poet, musician, and graffiti prodigy in late-1970s New York, Jean-Michel Basquiat had honed his signature painting style of obsessive scribbling, elusive symbols and diagrams, and mask-and-skull imagery by the time he was 20. “I don’t think about art while I work,” he once said. “I think about life.” Basquiat drew his subjects from his own Caribbean heritage — his father was Haitian and his mother of Puerto Rican descent — and a convergence of African-American, African, and Aztec cultural histories with Classical themes and and his mother of Puerto Rican descent.” — got that description from https://lnkd.in/dGSHbAw If you don’t know him, and you like this, go check him out 🤓🖌🧑🏾‍🎨🎨

Paula Scher, a designer who has been influential to me. She is best known for her work on large brand projects such as Citibank, Windows 8, MoMA and The Metropolitan Opera in New York. She has been quoted as saying “It took me a few seconds to draw it, but it took me 34 years to learn how to draw it in a few seconds.” She is also an awesome artist and educator.

During the 1980s, Susan Kare developed many of the interface elements for the Apple Macintosh. Susan’s fonts and icons, gave it voice, personality, style, and even a sense of humor. She has since contributed at Microsoft, IBM, Facebook, and Pinterest. #susankare #applemacintosh #womanintech #icondesign
